Pre-Optometry Club at Arizona State University 

The purpose of the Pre-Optometry Club is to help Arizona State University undergraduates learn about the application process for optometry school and gain valuable insight into the field of optometry!

Welcome!

Our club is dedicated to helping members become competitive applicants for optometry school by offering information and support on navigating the OptomCAS application process, including timelines and requirements. Members are also given advice for preparing for the Optometry Admission Test (OAT), including test study sessions and recommended study materials. Through visits from representatives of various optometry schools, our club offers valuable insight into the different path of optometry. We also connect members with volunteer and shadowing opportunities, promote development in leadership skills within the club, and provide writing workshops to help students build confidence and prepare for a future in optometry.

When are our Meetings?

Our meetings are held bi-weekly on Thursdays at 7:30 pm MST. The Zoom links are sent to members via email.
